Reel Wild is incredibly proud to dedicate its opening night to a cause that has moved New Zealanders all across the country (and overseas).

On the evening of Friday the 13th, we’re nothing if not lucky to be hosting a very special screening of FIFTY – The Movie.

The documentary follows Mal Law’s bold attempt to run 50 mountain marathons over 50 peaks in just 50 days, all around New Zealand, in order to raise an enormous amount of money for the Mental Health Foundation.

The film is every bit as unique and ambitious as the adventure it traces. It’s  about so much more than just stunning mountain scenery and awesome trail running. It’s also about the ‘power of purpose’ and what is possible when thousands of people get together behind one man to help achieve something truly and utterly remarkable.

Partners Life and Mal himself will host Friday night at Reel Wild in Auckland on the 13th May.

This special screening has no extra cost, as part of your weekend pass to Reel Wild, so come and join Mal to celebrate his achievement and raise a glass while catching the final Auckland showing of the movie that’s played to sell-out crowds up and down New Zealand.

This promises to be a special night with a truly iconic Kiwi hero.

The film will start at 7pm so join us a bit before that for a proper catch up.
